“Battery School November 2025 was successfully held by NBRI…” Serpong, 26 November 2025. The National Battery Research Institute (NBRI), in collaboration with PPSDM KEBTKE of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, successfully held the Battery School program with the theme “Battery Energy Storage System for Residential and Industry” on 25 to 26 November 2025 at the Indonesian Life Science Center, Puspiptek, Serpong. This program serves as an important effort to enhance human resource capabilities in energy storage technology, supporting the development of renewable energy and the implementation of BESS solutions across Indonesia. Participants from Multiple Industrial and Educational Sectors The training was attended by 14 participants representing diverse backgrounds such as education, battery manufacturing, energy, engineering, and technology. Institutions included: Politeknik Negeri Samarinda Universitas Brawijaya Astra Polytechnic PT Tokokosen Indonesia PT Dharma Controlcable Indonesia PT PLN IP UBP Ombilin PT Century Batteries Indonesia PT Lord Indonesia PT Permadani Khatulistiwa Nusantara PLN and PT PLN Persero PUSHARLIS These varied backgrounds encouraged dynamic discussions and collaboration throughout the event. Training Activities: Theory and Laboratory Practice During the two-day program, participants joined a series of theoretical sessions and hands-on laboratory activities designed to build strong foundational understanding of battery technology and energy storage systems. This is the photo where participants are wearing lab coats and working with laboratory equipment inside the lab. Place this image right here, as it directly supports the explanation of indoor lab activities. Observation at the Battery Electric Vehicle Laboratory Participants also visited the Battery Electric Vehicle Laboratory at NBRI. This session allowed them to see firsthand the facilities used for developing battery and electric vehicle technologies. The visit gave participants a clear picture of how battery systems are integrated into electric vehicles and energy innovations. Battery School November 2025 delivered comprehensive and practical training on battery and energy storage systems. NBRI and PPSDM KEBTKE extend their appreciation to all participants, speakers, and partners involved. The knowledge and hands-on experience gained from this program are expected to contribute to the advancement of energy storage technology in Indonesia. See you at the next Battery School program.
