Battery School – Advanced Material Processing in Battery Technology
Driven by the Indonesian government's strategic provisions on nickel downstreaming and Ministerial Regulation ESDM No. 11/2019, which imposes a nickel export ban, the urgency for advancements in battery technology has escalated to a critical level. As Indonesia solidifies its position as a global player in the nickel industry and endeavors to capture greater value from its natural resources, the imperative for innovation in battery technology becomes increasingly pronounced.
Against this backdrop, the National Battery Research Institute (NBRI), in collaboration with Merck as an industry expert, proudly presents Battery School with the theme: Advanced Material Processing in Battery Technology.
This program combines structured theoretical sessions with practical demonstrations and real-world case discussions, delivered by leading experts and practitioners from NBRI and Merck with extensive experience in battery technology and material science.
Participants will gain applicable, real-world knowledge on advanced material processing, battery fabrication, and testing — directly supporting Indonesia's ambitions in renewable energy integration and electric vehicle adoption.
